Breed Info

Italian Greyhound

The Italian Greyhound is a charming and elegant breed with a history that dates back to ancient times, having been cherished by nobility and artists alike. These graceful dogs form deep bonds with their families and are known for their affectionate nature, making them wonderful companions for both individuals and families. While they enjoy their share of playtime, they strike a lovely balance with their calm demeanor, which can make them quite suitable for various living situations, including apartment life.

Known for their moderate energy levels, Italian Greyhounds benefit from regular exercise, such as daily walks or playful indoor activities. Their playful yet gentle behavior often translates well to homes with young children, although supervision is recommended. They're also known to get along well with other dogs and can happily cohabit with feline friends, creating a harmonious household.

Grooming is a breeze with this breed, as they only require weekly brushing to manage shedding. Their short coat and low grooming demands make them ideal for busy pet owners who still want a loving companion. Intelligent and eager to please, Italian Greyhounds are generally quite trainable, responding well to positive reinforcement methods. With their mix of warmth, loyalty, and playful spirit, this breed could be the perfect addition to your family. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My niece dragged me to this place 😘. I was able to get a chance to look at all the great different breeds of puppies...all more than cute, clean, well cared for. Most of them were sleeping or ' taking a break" from being "just awesome."
